CASE at IAGG-ER 2019

Chairing and contributing to symposiums, giving presentations and presenting posters. More than 20 of CASE researchers and affiliated researchers actively contributed to the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics European Congress, Gothenburg, Sweden 23-25 May.

IAGG-ER 2019 was held in Gothenburg, Sweden

Some 1600 delegates from 64 countries attended IAGG-ER 2019. Professor Susanne Iwarsson, coordinator at CASE is very pleased:
-CASE had great presence and gave many contributions to this important event. At the same time this has been a great learning experience to us. Participating at and contributing to IAGG-ER have given our junior and senior researchers an important opportunity to present research, and participate and network, in an international context. This experience is of great value to our capacity building effort, according to Susanne Iwarsson.

The congress was arranged by IAGG-ER in collaboration with the local Centre for Ageing and Health (AgeCap) at the University of Gothenburg, the two Swedish national associations; Swedish Gerontological Society (SGS), Geriatric Medicine in Sweden (SGF), both also members of the Nordic Gerontological Federation (NGF).
-We are impressed. On behalf of CASE, I would like to extend our gratitude for an event well organized, we are so pleased, says Susanne Iwarsson.
