Theme: Building a Community and Dismantling Silos with the Centre for Aging Environment Research
Description: This presentation will describe the “Centre for Aging Environment Research” based at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation in Toronto, Canada, which aims to dismantle silos and build a community in the practice and research of aging environments. The goals and objectives are to share, synthesize, advance, and mobilize knowledge on long-term care settings—the linkages of living environments on older adults and working environments on workers and their work.
Welcome to our discussions: In this session, we will discover CAER and explore similarities and differences between the Canadian and Swedish aging environments and knowledge mobilization practices.
